CLASS A CDL DRIVERS As an employee with Western Transportation, your job will consist of pickup and delivery of portable storage units to customer residence and/ or commercial properties, while providing a safe and professional customer service experience. EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT & PROJECT COORDINATOR Initiates, coordinates, and executes executive administrative support and special projects for the CEO and other corporate officers. This position is located in our Upper Marlboro, MD office, with the option for some remote work/telecommuting. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues. Assists with special projects as assigned. Works closely with other business leaders in the organization to gather information and report on special projects. Coordinates calendars and schedules appointments, ensuring all parties are informed of and kept abreast of schedule awareness. Answers and screens telephone calls in a professional and timely manner; takes accurate messages with ahigh degree of professionalism and courtesy; arranges conference calls. Exercises considerable judgement and discretion in handling requests for appointments and telephone calls. Distributes daily internal/external mail and overnight packages. Composes, types, and distributes professional correspondence and memoranda, E-mails, and Microsoft Teams, using individual initiative and as assigned. Meets and greets visitors as required. Coordinates travel arrangements; completes expense reports and processes invoices; ensures that correctaccount codes are used and required signatures obtained. Compiles and reports financial and/or operational data for the executive team. Coordinates meetings including but not limited to preparing and distributing agendas and other meetingmaterials, reserving, and preparing facilities, and recording and transcribing meeting minutes. Orders and maintains supplies. Assists in development and implementation of department systems and procedures as needed. Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, scanning, and mailing. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. STAFF ACCOUNTANT GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Support Accounting Manager with the day-to-day accounting function Assist in treasury and cash management Assist in Collections throughout our entities Additional duties as necessary ​ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Lead Accounts Receivable Collections for all entities Support the RedSky System from an accounting perspective i.e., entering job expenses from Contractor Settlements and invoices Support Smart box with collections and auction procedures Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent members to request payment Create and maintain reports regarding the current status of customer accounts Research customer discrepancies and past-due amount with assistance of coordinators Assist in billing customers as needed Filing as needed REQUIREMENTS EXPERIENCE 2+ years of experience in an Accounting Department EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION Associate degree in accounting, is a plus SKILLS Competency with Accounting Systems. QuickBooks is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other business software as needed Strong written and verbal communications Organized, detailed oriented and diligent Understands the ethical standards and confidentiality of an accountant Understanding, yet persuasive and decisive when dealing with others in the organization Responsive team player with ability to quickly prioritize among numerous pressing tasks Task and goal oriented and capable of functioning in an entrepreneurial and corporate setting Trucking and Logistics experience a strong plus
